If so, they're probably driving your property values down...bears are terrible neighbors.
UPDATE: Much to my dismay, it turns out that the bears were not spotted in Deerfield Township shopping at Chicos as I had suspected. Rather, the (one) black bear was spotted a bear out in
Adams County by Adena Pollard. Here are some awesome things she said about her bear encounter:
"[I] Opened the blind up and looked down and I seen something big and black. At first, I did think it was a raccoon and then I was like what is that and it was way bigger than a raccoon and he turned around and looked up at me and walked off."Ok, she thought it was a raccoon? WTF? How big are the raccoons out in Adams County?
"It was kind of my fault too because I had left my trash on the porch the night before and that's what he came after he drug it off the porch and underneath the window, he ate the Wendy's baked potato, basically." I have to agree with the bear here, those Wendy's baked potatoes are pretty damn good.
So, the message here is clear: If you live in Adams County (as I'm sure many of my readers do), don't eat at Wendy's. Also, look out for giant raccoons. Thanks Channel 12!
